Boy, I sure am looking forward to my lazy Friday! Had been so busy the last couple of days that I wish my 3 months summer hols would come quickly haha :) But then again, I like to be occupied with work, or rather with books to read!! Have yet to read the
"Harmony Silk Road" recommended by Ola but reviews said that it's indeed a book worth reading!Hopefully, one day when I have the time....
Well, here's something funny!! Like what Steve mentioned in his blog, we attended the home fellowship for the 1st time in Bangsar last Friday at Uncle Yu Chwong and Linda's place ( hope their names are correctly spelt). I must admit that I was as blind as a bat...and as clumsy as dunno what to have fallen into the pond near the door!!It was sooooo sudden, I took 2 steps backwards and the next thing I know, I was in the pond.
Thank God, I didn't create a scene coz i didn't fall backwards nor plunge in (so, don't let ur imaginations run wild!), but rather, it was like me, the " zombie" walking backwards into the pond.....it was so hilarious just to think of the incident! Thank God again that something prompted me to wear skirt that night coz the pond was only knee-high deep and my skirt was spared from getting soaked all together. I was wearing a knee length skirt then haha!
Anyway, just wanna say that I truly did enjoy the warm fellowship there. It really brings back so much fond memories of attending care groups with my frens except that this time round, it's a whole new experience of attending a more matured home fellowship. Well, we progressed from attending tertiary students' fellowship to young adults and when u're ready ( when age is catching up that is!) you move on to *home fellowship* haha.....
Well, so this is a BIG STEP for me....but I'm still thinking, should I still stay with Young Adults or attend home fellowship already? Or, just attend both since I'm so indecisive. Well, kinda dread this transition thing.....but I hope that wherever I go, the Holy Spirit will give me the discernment to make wise decisions and may I continue to be a blessing to the people around me as they have always been a blessing to me in so many wonderful ways!
