Latest favourite pastime....riding on Red Hot BIKE!

Check out Nicole's latest bike......both Norm and Nic love this bike so much, well so do I haha :)

If only the bike is slightly bigger and does not have a warning sign that reads, "Only for children aged 3 to 8", you bet I would have already meddled with the red hot bike.....I think it's such a superb invention! Don't recall having a "real bike" to ride on when I was their age.....

Indeed, both Norman and Nicole have grown so much over the years. Norm is seven years old now and he's currently attending Primary One at a nearby Chinese School. But poor boy, his friends still tease him for not opening his mouth to converse in Mandarin. I guess it's just a matter of time before he gains the confidence to speak in Mandarin. Well, he probably finds it weird to speak in Mandarin but given more time and encouragement, I'm sure Norm will be able to pick up.

One day, Norman heard the radio dj mentioned his name on air. He was curious and so he asked, "why did the dj mention my name?.....I heard he said Harvey Norman!" Hahaha....Nicole too said something similar...."I heard Nicole Kidman...." and she was wondering......why Kidman and not Ng....hahaha....kids are so adorable :)

Nicole is still very much a baby at home although she's four years old now. She's my only niece considering that I have a total of 4 nephews :) Anyway, this cutie princess still refuses to attend pre-school sighhhh! She prefers to sleep and play at home.....

"I'm clever in everything but not going to school!" so she says when we pester her yet again. Witty gal....cutie princess.....she brightens my day when she smiles :)

More pictures coming up in my album!

Have you all read "Habitudes" by Dr TIM E.?

I must try to blog consistently lest I forget my password to this blog hahaha :p

Well, I've been reading this book called, "Habitudes" by Dr Tim E. and indeed, it's such a refreshing little book. The first glance at the book, I thought I would be able to finish reading it within a few hours, but I was so wrong!! This wasn't any ordinary book but it's a must-have little investment that I consider worth buying.

This book has very simple yet meaningful illustrations of real-life examples of people that we could identify with. It doesn't exaggerate on its teachings but it speaks volume to me as I'm reminded of my own experiences......been there, gone there, seen it, had it, experienced it......it was all too familiar as memories of the past flood my mind.

Ist topic - Iceberg, 2nd topic - The baker who needs to feed himself/herself before he/she feeds others, 3rd topic - Stock taking ( check what is in store; we can only give others what we have deposited) and the rest...i can't recall at the moment :)

Indeed, I'm really encouraged every time I read a chapter in the book. I thank God for speaking to me through this little book ( i.e the verses, constant reminders and reflections). Truly refreshing to see things in a different perspective as I read this book at my own pace ( I'm still reading hehe! )

Ok, please go grab this book! This is a book that's definitely worth reading.

*Value of this book = Benefits far outweigh the Costs*

So, next time if you're looking for a good book to read in the bookstore, check out this green tiny book.....
