Hi there everyone.... Welcome to my blog! I love to write but don't have the time to spare previously. So, hopefully, I'll be more hard-working this time round. Sit back and enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy putting my thoughts into words...

Love my friends, love their gifts!!

Had such a good time yesterday! Attended the Christmas musical in my church yesterday and of course, as usual, everyone (the public) is invited to watch this wonderful production next week i.e on Dec 22 and 23 @ 8pm with dinner provided for its thousand over audience!!

This year's musical is entitled, "Once Upon A Love Story!" It's the most meaningful love story ever told in history, so if anyone wants to watch....gimme a buzz ok! Don't miss it, it's GOOD!

Quoting from its short excerpt, "the story of two people brought together by GOD, who shared one love, one destiny....a life changing experience. This musical is an exploration of how that love story of Mary and Joseph came about. And so...." haHaha...u gotta watch this musical yourself!

Next on the list after the musical was our cg Christmas party!! Had a good fellowship (20 odd people I reckon) & not forgetting so much food....yummy....sausages, egg sandwiches, chocolate cake + another delicious coffee flavoured don't know what cake, pizzas, fried rice, fish balls, crackers with cheese (oh, blur me...was the topping cheese or mayonaise?) etc... And hey, i think we had ice-cream too.....but i forgot to eat haha :p

Aiks, typed quite a bit after the ice-cream thingy, but accidentally pressed some keys...and it's all gone now.....Gosh...lazy to repeat myself.....just continue from here! Too bad...

We also exchanged gifts after dinner....and guess what?? I had half my wish fulfilled when I got something shaped like a shoe box!! I was hoping to get a pair of white sandals/shoes to suit my lovely white gown to be worn in KH's wedding next year hehe.....So, I gleefully unwrapped the red Santa wrapper and....guess again?? A sticker at the side of the Santa Barbara shoe box read, "COLOUR : WHITE" and I happily grinned. This must be it....could it be, could it NOT?

Haha.....of course, take a peep inside and ..... well, IT WASN'T THE MUCH ANTICIPATED WHITE PAIR OF SHOES/SANDALS after all.....but I was not the least disappointed! Haha...it would have been too pricey an exchange gift anyway :p Instead, mystery revealed....I got a lovely, kiddy pretty pink handbag with two bears on it which suits Nicole ( my 3 year-old cheeky niece) better i think! Haha.....love my friends, love their gifts.....THANK YOU mr D. I can't imagine what if Bell or Alex got it!! Haha....

As usual, since I'm quite different and "special" hahaha....a few of us had additional Christmas gifts. Shuba was soooo sweet, though she was as busy as a bee, yet she managed to get us (Pung, Debbie, Elaine and myself) a pair of earrings each! How sweet :)

Now....a pair of earrings is also one of my Christmas wishes this year....or perhaps every year as a matter of fact ...The reason being I lost my 1st pair of earrings from a dear friend who assumed that I had pierced my ears like other girls did in college! WRONG mr!! But i really appreciated it.....no worries :p

Some updates.... listen well, listen carefully ya, "I still haven't pierced my ears to date!" So, people.....don't laugh so loud haha! Will do so....don't rush me! Need to pluck up enough courage to do so this year....before year end hopefully....hmmm

So, it was quite hilarious that Shuba, of all people forgot that I HAVE YET TO PIERCE my ears haha :p What a friend dearie!

I told the girls at the party, " hey, don't wear them yet, i feel so out of place now...." but they just laughed.

Earrings....yes for sure will keep this pair SAFELY! Love my friends, love their gifts, whatever they may be!

Came home at 1.30 AM. Awakened by a loud text message that read, "RM10 has been topped up to your account from 6012.... ( an unfamiliar number!)

I thought....wow, this is a wonderful surprise .... I feel so blessed but who could it be? My sis?? My dad, my mum? But so little hahaha?? Just kidding!!

Then.....I thanked the sender at his/her unfamiliar mobile no. and guess what?

The next unexpected reply that came along from this person read, " MAAF, BOLEH PULANGKAN BALIK? TERSALAH HANTAR. PLEASE." Translated into English it reads, " Sorry, could you please return the top up amount? Wrongly sent. Please....

Ai yorrr.....so funny! Regretted sending out the text message to thank the stranger!!

Ain't my friend, but I still love his/her gift nonetheless haha.....too bad, this one gotta return!

What a lovely day...........

I am a lousy BLOGGER!

I haven't been blogging for a while and guess what? I almost forgot my password haha!

But then again, of course, I do check my e-mails and read my friends' stories daily.....and yes, I've been waiting and hoping that the one particular e-mail will soon pop up when he remembers the urgency to reply & is not too bogged down by his 24/7 work :p sighhhh

Anyway, it's Christmas time again!!! So fast... Christmas reminds me of so many things and a time when I do some soul-searching before I bid farewell to 2005..... As I spend time reflecting.......hmm

1. It's gonna be one year since the tsunami happened on Dec 26 2004. I hope the tsunami victims and their families have managed to pull themselves together and start life afresh. I feel for the ones who have suffered and who are still suffering from the trauma. No one knows the extend of pain and grief that they have gone through when they lost their loved ones but may their hearts be comforted, faith strengthened and continue to trust & believe that God has not abandoned HIS people.

2. I've been back for one year and two months....wow! Did I regret coming home? Well, honestly, yes a little....but would I regret more not coming home? Most definitely haha.....Sometimes I wish that I don't have to make any choices in life because one wrong turn usually leads to another disastrous path! I don't think I've made many bad choices in life, but as the new year beckons, I hope to be more wise! May our good LORD grant me more wisdom and discernment for the coming year!

3. What has been my greatest achievement in life for the past year? I don't know. But one thing for sure, GOD is good and HE has blessed me with yet another significant & memorable year!

4. The many wonderful weddings that I've attended this year......

5. My 1st time teaching! All sorts of names i.e Miss Con, Miss Lim, mrs Connee, Madam, teacher....hehe, long story, probably elaborate on this another day.

And so much more to reflect.....so many bitter sweet memories! Will continue to ponder this amazing word called, " life".
