I am a lousy BLOGGER!
I haven't been blogging for a while and guess what? I almost forgot my password haha!
But then again, of course, I do check my e-mails and read my friends' stories daily.....and yes, I've been waiting and hoping that the one particular e-mail will soon pop up when he remembers the urgency to reply & is not too bogged down by his 24/7 work :p sighhhh
Anyway, it's Christmas time again!!! So fast... Christmas reminds me of so many things and a time when I do some soul-searching before I bid farewell to 2005..... As I spend time reflecting.......hmm
1. It's gonna be one year since the tsunami happened on Dec 26 2004. I hope the tsunami victims and their families have managed to pull themselves together and start life afresh. I feel for the ones who have suffered and who are still suffering from the trauma. No one knows the extend of pain and grief that they have gone through when they lost their loved ones but may their hearts be comforted, faith strengthened and continue to trust & believe that God has not abandoned HIS people.
2. I've been back for one year and two months....wow! Did I regret coming home? Well, honestly, yes a little....but would I regret more not coming home? Most definitely haha.....Sometimes I wish that I don't have to make any choices in life because one wrong turn usually leads to another disastrous path! I don't think I've made many bad choices in life, but as the new year beckons, I hope to be more wise! May our good LORD grant me more wisdom and discernment for the coming year!
3. What has been my greatest achievement in life for the past year? I don't know. But one thing for sure, GOD is good and HE has blessed me with yet another significant & memorable year!
4. The many wonderful weddings that I've attended this year......
5. My 1st time teaching! All sorts of names i.e Miss Con, Miss Lim, mrs Connee, Madam, teacher....hehe, long story, probably elaborate on this another day.
And so much more to reflect.....so many bitter sweet memories! Will continue to ponder this amazing word called, " life".
