Congratulations SARAH :)

It didn't matter when Sarah woke me up with her text msg at 1.25AM ..... because GOD has finally answered her prayer! Not in our own timing....but in HIS perfect timing!

I read her blog everyday and felt a bit worried when her long-awaited letter hasn't arrived! Her friends have gotten their letters but when is Sarah's letter coming?? "Why has it been delayed.....where is her letter?" are probably some of the anxious questions that ran through my mind......Perhaps, GOD has other plans for her instead of furthering her studies in Japan. Perhaps, just perhaps....

But, in the midst of all the uncertainties, Sarah remained calm, patient and poise...... I know how insecure she felt when her long-awaited letter didn't arrive as expected. Her birthday was fast approaching when her friends received their offer letters but not Sarah.... I was really worried and I bet, Sarah had many sleepless nights waiting for her "letter" to come! But only GOD knows that the best birthday gift for her is "THE LETTER" and to be received on her birthday :)

Yes.... finally on March 8, 2006...(Sarah's birthday!!!) Sarah's Japanese scholarship letter came.... I was groggy no more when i read her text msg because I was so overjoyed for her.... I could see her grinning from ear to ear and imagine her tears trickling down her cheers thanking GOD for HIS wondrous love & blessings upon her life. I know everyone else was in an elated mood :)

"Babe, just got my letter today! I'm going Japan!..." these will be the words to stay till I meet her before she flies off..... Happy packing gal... can you put me in your suitcase too?

Thank you Lord for the great plans that you have for Sarah! Your thoughts and your ways are definitely higher than ours.... GOD is good, all the time!
